Job Title: DSP Onboarding & Training Manager

Location: Sandy, OR

Salary Range: $55k-$65k

Overview

We are seeking an experienced DSP to serve as our Onboarding & Training Manager to lead our onboarding processes and ensure a seamless transition for new hires into our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a deep understanding of talent acquisition, employee relations, and training & development. This role is pivotal in fostering a positive employee experience from the very start of their journey with us. To be considered for this role, you must have work experience as a DSP.

Duties

  • Develop and implement effective onboarding programs that align with company culture and values.
  • Conduct employee orientation sessions to familiarize new hires with company policies, procedures, and culture.
  • Manage the onboarding schedule, ensuring timely completion of all necessary paperwork and training sessions.
  • Utilize CRM systems such as Therap, Expiration Reminder, and Paychex Flex for tracking onboarding progress and managing candidate information.
  • Foster relationships with new employees to facilitate smooth integration into their respective teams.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of the onboarding process to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with employment & labor law throughout the onboarding process.
  • Collaborate with department heads to tailor onboarding experiences specific to each role.
  • Support talent management initiatives including succession planning and employee evaluation processes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in human resources, particularly in onboarding or talent acquisition roles.
  • Bachelors Degree REQUIRED
  • Proficiency in CRM systems such as Paychex and Therap
  • 2 years experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) REQUIRED
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on relationship management.
  • Ability to conduct effective interviews and evaluate candidates' fit within the organization.
  • A solid understanding of training & development principles to enhance new hire integration.
